Live Guidelines
Expectations for real-time broadcasts and participation.
These guidelines cover expectations for real-time broadcasts and participation.
Before and during a broadcast
Live broadcasters control what they show and say in real time and are responsible for the stream, co-hosts, and audience interactions. Live formats do not suspend the Community Guidelines or intellectual-property rules.
- Do not stream private spaces, identifiable people, or conversations without appropriate permission.
- Do not broadcast threats, exploitation, dangerous instructions, or unlawful activity.
- Do not reveal credentials, financial details, precise location, or another person's private information.
- Use viewer and comment controls where available, and end a broadcast if continuing would create an immediate safety risk.
Audience participation
Viewers and co-hosts must not harass the broadcaster or one another, spam the stream, or use reactions and comments to coordinate harm. Report a live concern through available in-app controls; no real-time review or response time is guaranteed by the inspected source.
What you can do
- Keep broadcasts safe and within community standards.
- Protect personal information while live.
- Use available controls to manage viewers and comments.
