Photo Guidelines

Standards for photos, edits, and visual context.

These guidelines cover standards for photos, edits, and visual context.

Photos and visual material

People who post photos are responsible for the image, edits, captions, tags, and context. Do not use images to expose private information, impersonate someone, create a misleading depiction, or target a person for abuse.

  • Get consent before sharing sensitive images or images captured in a private setting.
  • Do not publish non-consensual intimate images or sexualized images of minors.
  • Use images you own or have permission to publish; attribution alone is not a license.
  • Do not remove context or edit a photo to falsely depict a real person or event.

Categories, profiles, and reports

The app exposes photo discovery and profile/content surfaces. Categorization does not make a photo safe, accurate, or rights-cleared. Use the available report path for content that violates these standards.

What you can do

  • Get consent before sharing sensitive images of others.
  • Do not use edits to impersonate or deceive.
  • Follow intellectual property and safety rules.
