Safety Center

Practical steps for safer participation on Kronop, reporting harmful content, protecting personal information, and responding to urgent situations.

Everyday safety tips

Use account and interaction controls available in the app, and review who can contact you or see your content where those controls are provided. Pause before sharing identifying information or responding to unexpected requests.

  • Use a strong, unique password and do not share sign-in codes.
  • Review privacy and chat controls available in your current app version.
  • Block or restrict an account if you need to stop unwanted contact and those controls are available.
  • Be cautious with links, requests for money, and claims that create urgency.

Report harmful content or behaviour

Report the specific account or item from its in-app report option where available. Choose the closest reason, describe the concern factually, and add relevant evidence only if the form permits it. A report requests review; it does not guarantee removal or a particular action.

  • Use Reporting Support for report locations, steps, fields, and reasons.
  • Do not repost or forward harmful content as a way to draw attention to it.
  • Do not download or redistribute suspected child sexual abuse or other illegal material.

Protect personal information

Share only information you are comfortable making available to the intended audience. Avoid posting passwords, verification codes, financial details, precise home or school locations, private contact information, or another person's personal details. Ask permission before sharing someone else's identifying information.

Stay safer from online harassment

If someone is harassing or threatening you, avoid escalating the exchange. Use block or restrict controls if available, save relevant links or report references when it is safe, and report the specific account or content. Tell a trusted person if you need support.

Do not expose private details, retaliate, or circulate intimate or abusive material. If you think contact may put you at risk, prioritize your safety over collecting evidence.

Emergency situations

Kronop reporting and account controls are not emergency services and may not provide immediate assistance. If someone faces immediate physical danger, contact local emergency services or the relevant local authority now. Do not wait for an in-app report to be reviewed.

Child safety

If a child may be at risk, involve a trusted adult and contact the appropriate local child-protection authority or emergency service when urgent. Report the relevant account or content in the app if safe and available. Do not download, save, copy, or share suspected sexual or exploitative material involving a child; provide identifying links or references through appropriate authorities instead.

Teen safety

Teens should avoid sharing identifying details, passwords, verification codes, or location information with people they do not trust. Use available privacy, block, and report controls, and speak with a trusted adult about threatening, coercive, sexual, or otherwise unsafe contact.

Specific teen protections and account settings can depend on the product and current app version. Do not assume a safeguard is enabled unless it is visible and confirmed in your account.
