Reporting FAQ

Answers to common questions about submitting reports, review updates, privacy, decisions, and appeals.

What happens after I submit a report?

A report is a request for Kronop to review the account or content you identified. If submission succeeds, the app may acknowledge receipt. The report can then be assessed against the applicable rules, and an outcome may be communicated through the app where that update is supported. Submission itself does not automatically remove content or restrict an account.

Is my report anonymous?

A report record may contain your reporter user ID, so the report is not anonymous to Kronop. We cannot promise from this public guide that your identity is hidden from the reported person in every situation. Do not include unnecessary personal details in your description or evidence. See the Privacy Policy for formal data-handling information.

How long can review take?

Review time can vary depending on the report, the context, and the information available. Kronop does not promise a fixed review time here. If the app shows a status or sends an update, use that information; do not submit duplicate reports solely to seek a faster response.

Can a report be rejected or result in no action?

Yes. After review, Kronop may determine that the available information does not show a violation of the applicable rules, or that there is not enough context to take action. A report is a request for review, not proof of a violation and not a guarantee of removal or another specific action.

How do I appeal a decision?

An appeal is available only when the decision notice or app flow provides an appeal option or instructions. Follow that route and include the decision or report reference, the account or item involved, why you believe the decision should be reconsidered, and any relevant new context. See Appeals for guidance.

What information should I include?

Choose the closest report type and reason, identify the account or content, and explain briefly what happened and why it concerns you. Where available, provide a content link or in-app reference and relevant screenshots. Do not include unrelated sensitive information or redistribute harmful material.

Which reasons can I choose?

The report flow may offer reasons such as Fake account, Spam, Harassment, Bullying, Hate speech, Threats, Impersonation, Adult content, Scam/Fraud, Copyright violation, Privacy violation, Illegal content, and Other. Available options can depend on the report context.
