What report acknowledgements and review updates mean, how decisions are communicated, and what to know about appeals.
A report is a request for review
Submitting a report asks Kronop to review the reported account or content against the applicable rules. A report does not automatically remove content, restrict an account, or establish that a violation occurred. A decision is made after review, based on the available information and applicable policies.
Report received
After successful submission, the app may acknowledge that the report was received. Keep any confirmation, reference, or notification available in case you need to ask about the report later. A submission acknowledgement confirms receipt only; it is not a decision.
Review in progress
If an in-progress update is available for the report, it means the submitted concern is being assessed. Review may consider the reported item, the selected reason, the description, and attached evidence where available. Do not send duplicate reports solely to request a faster review.
The time required can vary with the report and the information available. Kronop does not promise a fixed review duration on this page.
Decision and final outcome
When a decision is available, the app may notify you of the outcome. Depending on the case, the outcome may be that action is taken or that the available information does not support action under the applicable rules. Privacy and safety considerations may limit details about another person's account or any action taken.
A report is a review request, not a guarantee of removal or another particular outcome. The decision follows review.
Appeal information
If an appeal is available for a decision, use the appeal option or instructions provided with that decision. Appeal availability and any submission window are specific to the decision notice; this page does not promise that every report or outcome can be appealed.
If you receive no update
Check the app's notifications and any report reference information you retained. If the app provides no status view or contact route for a report, do not assume that a missing notification means the report was ignored or resolved. For urgent danger, contact local emergency services rather than waiting for an in-app update.
